She enjoys building supportive relationships with young people and being a part of the team that supports them to work towards achieving their goals and potential. When not at work you will find Makeda drawing, on a zip wire or a quad bike, or doing some other novel activity!

The Promise in Action: Scotland Event Highlights
On 15 May 2025, the National House Project (NHP) hosted “The Promise in Action: Voice” at the Carnegie Conference Centre in Dunfermline. The event brought together care-experienced young people, Local House Project staff, and partners from across Scotland to share learning, celebrate progress, and explore the importance of youth voice in shaping services.
